"കവി" "വിത"യ്ക്കുന്നതല്ലേ കവിത?
Do you feel some absurdity in the heading? How does an RC circuit related to life? For electronics engineer, who works in analog field, RC circuit is his bread and butter – and hence related to his life. Is that the only relation?
Consider the circuit shown below and its response to a step DC voltage
Those who have studied a basic electronics will agree to this. The capacitor will charge toward the V (the peak voltage of the DC step) with a time constant RC, but ideally never reaches there (Practically some close value we take as the final destination, V).
Now consider the circuit.
This is a very famous Mono stable multivibrator. Here Q1 – OFF and Q2-ON is the stable state. Now, an external trigger will bring the circuit to its unstable state – Q1 ON and Q2 OFF. Now, C1 will charge from Vcc through R2, and once the capacitor voltage reaches VBEon it goes back to its stable state. Now comes one important question. What is the path (voltage curve) that capacitor takes to charge. As everybody knows, it is normal exponential curve towards Vcc, and in between the charging stops because of the state change of the circuit.
Is it something similar to what happening in out lives? Everybody travels through a path expecting the final destination which is at very high and far point. But in between something happens which is not in our hand, and the charging stops.
The first circuit also behaves in a very similar way. We expect to reach the final destination and after some time we think that we have reached there (Though not everybody). But in reality are we reaching the final destiny or is it our belief?
